Growing up as an Army Brat I had the opportunity to live in all parts of the East Coast as well as Germany. Adapting to different cultures every three years was a challenge, however, I believe this molded me into the person I am today. I settled in New Jersey where I met my husband and raised our two boys in a small town. We lived in the same town and house for 32 years. Being from the Army background I just wanted my boys to have a more settled lifestyle. We purchased our home in Ocean View Delaware in 2020 and recently moved here full-time last November (2022) where my husband was able to retire from 38 years in commercial construction. My passion for design comes from 26 years in the custom picture framing industry. This is where I grew into product design and manufacturing of both wood and metal mouldings as well as designing and marketing both mouldings and matboards. Using Phillip Jefferies as our supplier of matboard design and developing colors for metal mouldings and purchasing our wood mouldings from Italy shaped my sense for design. I framed artwork from posters to expensive pieces for major trade shows designing and displaying in a gallery style and major events in well-known museums. Moving to Delaware I was given the opportunity to work at Creative Concepts as a Design Consultant. I LOVE my new career. Corporate America gave me the skills in Product Development, Project Management, Marketing and Merchandising, which I apply to my current role as an Interior Designer. I love working with a clean palette of a new home helping my clients discover their sense of style and making their dream come to life. I also love it when a client wants a change mixing old with new, keeping some of the pieces they cherish and just updating a bit. My style being from the Metropolitan area for so many years is more tone on tone, but my true gift is listening to my clients and their style. Traditional, Classy Coastal, Coastal Cottage, contemporary, transitional… I love them all! I look forward to working with you on your upcoming project.
